I decided to write Forbidden Angel on a whim. I would like to say that I thought about this story for years before putting pen to paper, but that wouldn’t be the truth. I was actually sitting in a college World History class when the idea came to me. I am lover of all things history, but not in this situation. I had the most horrible teacher ever and if given the choice I would have chosen to ingest nails instead of going to class (no joke, lol). On that particular day we were discussing the Holocaust and my mind began to wander. Suddenly I saw this whole romantic story of a Nazi who fell in love with a Jewish woman at a concentration camp. You wouldn’t have believed just how quickly my hand moved across the paper (no doubt my teacher thought I was quite entertained with his lecture). By the end of class I had the entire story plotted.

When I came home I began writing and the story of these two forbidden lovers consumed my every waking moment. I loved telling Sarah and Aurel’s unlikely romance. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
